A need to roam.

With an undying passion for the outdoors, Oli is an accomplished ski alpinist, big wall climber and content producing enthusiast with over 20 years imprint in the adventure landscape. Eternally drawn to challenge, and growing skills of self reliance, Oli seeks his outlets outside - designing each expedition with uniquely different perspectives.

Hailing from the urban borough of Clapham, London, Oli spent much of his childhood in Jordan, Egypt, Poland and America. It was this early childhood travel that has led to the Oli’s innate curiosity to see far corners of the world.

His addiction for perfecting technical skills and pushing boundaries along the way led Oli to become one of the youngest PADI instructors in the world to manage a live aboard in the Red Sea at the early age of 18.

Turning his commitment to life in the mountains over 13 years ago, Oli is now a full time coach of elite alpine skiers from Australia and New Zealand. After several years travelling with the World Cup series, Oli realised a life-long dream. In 2018, Oli coached at the 2018 Pyeong Chang Olympics with the New Zealand Ski team, playing an instrumental role to their performance.

An exploration architect, he has spent his life perfecting his crafts in nature. Oli has skied extensively throughout the West coast range of North America, covering almost everything in the Spearhead range near Whistler. In 2011, Oli and his all British team completed a traverse on the Juneau Ice field on the Alaskan / BC border. A test of true endurance over 28 days, Oli bagged five first descents, one first ascent, and a first ascent of a couloir, gaining recognition in the American Alpine Journal.

As a climber, Oli specialises in hammerless big wall aid and speed climbing. He has climbed throughout the south coast of England, Wales, the Peak District, Scotland, Fontainblue, the Verdon, the French and Swiss alps, Brigalia, Squamish, Whistler, Indian Creek, the Grampians, Mt Arapiles, Thailand and Yosemite. With thirteen 1-10 days ascents of El Cap under his belt, Oli embraces the hardship and the joys of life on the wall.

Oli is fierce in his approach from the birth of an idea, to its completion. Detailed planning, bold decisions and thick beards are all part of the fun. The next turn, the next pitch, and the feeling you get at bottom of a great line down a mountain is what drives this avid adventurer. No matter what lies around the corner, Oli is devoted to chasing dreams and pursuing the freedom found in all of life’s simple things.
